Have you ever found, whenever you teach your parents how to take a picture, or send a message, or use technology, they always seem like not able to follow the instruction that you said or even sometimes they blame the phone because that thing doesn’t work as they want, right??

It’s all because they don’t have knowledge about digital literacy.

👱🏼: “Digital literacy??! What’s that??” 🧐🧐

This term has become a hot topic since the development of the technological age. Nowadays many engineers who aware of how important this is and they considered to make a new technology that can be accessed by all ages including the elderly and children because as we can see the population growth rate on this earth is decreasing every decade.

Based on data from the WHO, in 2020 the number of people aged 60 years and over exceeds the number of children under 5 years. It is predicted that by 2050 the population of people aged over 60 and older will double (2.1 billion). From that data, we can predict that as the elderly population increases the demand for technologies for them going to increase followed by the number of elderly who use technology.

So, what’s the problem?? Why is it so important when everyone is using technology lately??

The problem is out there, there are still many areas or even people who do not have internet access. If you try to search on Google about this, you will find some articles, and research about how many in total people don’t have access to the internet. This means those people are actually aware of the era's development from TVs or newspapers but they cannot keep up because they don’t…
